Agreement
These Terms form the entire agreement between you and LunaConvert regarding use of our website and conversion services. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Acceptable use
Lawful use only
You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Your files
You retain ownership of files you upload. We receive only the limited rights needed to store, convert, and deliver results — including temporary storage and private download links. Files are deleted after 30 minutes (up to 48 hours for paid credit plans).
Copyright & prohibited content
Do not upload content you do not have the right to use or distribute. Do not use our service to circumvent DRM, copy-protection, or terms of third-party platforms (e.g. ripping from streaming services without authorization).
We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules. We comply with applicable copyright law including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) where relevant.
DMCA notices
If you believe copyrighted work was uploaded without permission, send a notice to dmca@lunaconvert.com including: (1) your signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the material and sufficient information to locate it; (4) your contact details; (5) a good-faith statement of unauthorized use; (6) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.
Counter-notifications may be submitted if you believe material was removed in error, following standard DMCA counter-notification requirements.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase.
Due to immediate digital delivery, refunds are generally not offered except where required by law or explicitly stated in a promotion. Taxes may apply based on your location.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strive for accuracy and uptime but do not guarantee error-free conversion for every file format or edge case.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the platform. You may stop using the service at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of LunaConvert, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes should be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
